56, breast cancer
The key thing is, it's brought out my creative
faculties. I finished my career in the public
service which was all left brain activity, and
now I'm using the right side of my brain,
getting involved in art and crafts. I've been
knitting crazy jumpers in wild colours and
stripes that don't match. I'd never done
anything like that before - having had cancer
has given me the ability to see the fun
side of life.
