35, breast cancer
"Cancer might rob you of that blissful
ignorance that once led you to believe
that tomorrow stretched forever.
In exchange, you're granted the vision
to see each today as precious, a gift to
be used wisely and richly. No one can take
that away." That was in a brochure I was
given when I was diagnosed with cancer
two years ago. It meant a lot to me at the
time so I stuck it on the fridge and it's
been there ever since.
